I teach flute and piano lessons in Woodbridge, Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC! I welcome flute students of all ages and levels, and beginner piano students of all ages.  I am a former member of the US Army’s Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, where I served as a fife instrumentalist and a baroque flutist.  Recently, I received my Doctor of Musical Arts degree from The Catholic University of America, where I studied with Toshiko Kohno, principal flutist of the National Symphony Orchestra.  In addition, I hold degrees from the Oberlin Conservatory and the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music, where I studied with Michel Debost and Dr. Bradley Garner, respectively.
